Filo Purses Stuffed with Apricots & Almonds



The perfect appetizer, these filo purses are small and sweet and healthy.
Ingredients
3/4C dried apricots
3/4C crushed almonds
3filo pasty sheets
½ stick butter
Confections sugar for dusting or honey

1.Preheat oven to 350* & grease pan
2.chop apricots & crush almonds( if not already crushed), mix the two well
3. Roll out filo dough, its very sensitive so be careful, cover the dough that you are not using because it will dry and crack.
4.cut into equal squares
5.Lay one pastry square on a flat surface, brush lightly with melted butter and lay another square on top. Brush the top square with melted margarine. Spoon a small amount of apricot mixture in the centre of the pastry, bring up the edges and pinch together in a money-bag shape. Repeat with the remaining pastry squares and filling to make 12 purses in all
6. Bake for 8minutes or until golden, dust sugar on top or melt honey and dip into honey.
